Dear Alex and yours and Mary's beloved children, The world has lost one of the kindest hearts it has ever known. While Mary and I shared many things...years and years of Thursday night services, conferences at Kanuga, friends in prayer and hugs whenever we met...the FIRST memory that comes to mind about her is that, when my mother died in 1985, Mary was the first person at my parents' downtown home, bringing with her a large cache of quarters so that people coming to pay their respects could feed the parking meters and avoid tickets! That was just the sort of thing that only Mary would think about! How I....and all of us....will miss her!
